Data Visualization

Data - Processing - Visualization - Organizational Change

Data visualization is a powerful tool for internalizing change within organizations.

Data is surprisingly consistent within educational environments due to state and national reporting requirements. We leverage these datasets to facilitate faster processing and consistent, multi-site visualizations.

We wrap this us in an Improvement Science framework and coaching with leadership teams to drive systemic change. If you want to geek out on PDSA cycles and NICs, we're your people!

Example: Student Discipline Dashboard

Through various legislative, elective, and communal accountability measures, most educational agencies have some form of semi-structured data. We use existing data sources to develop state, district, and school-level dashboards which allow leaders to interact with and explore data to drive systemic change.

Disciplinary data is a prime example!

Our premier dashboard uses the disciplinary data already collected for summative accountability to drive formative decision-making.

The district-level dashboard shows the most common disciplinary referrals, consequences, locations, and more all desegregated by special services status, race/ethnicity, gender, age, and more. It also shows age of onset of substance use, a breakdown of areas of increased disproportionality, and risk ratios for general education and special education.

This tool brings your data to life with a minimal tech load.

The school-level dashboard gives leadership teams the information they need to drive real change within an MTSS structure. Through coaching and consultation, leadership teams can develop the capacity to hold onto a vision throughout all the stages of implementation. It's tough work being a leader but this tool helps!
